Summer Playdates!
Join us for any or all of our summer MOPS playdates. They will be held on our usual 2nd and 4th Tuesday's of the month at 10AM. See the park listings below.
Andrew's Park, Champlin - 169 N, Right on 117th. The park will be on  your left-hand side just past Winnetka Ave.
Elm Creek Playground - located in Elm Creek Park Preserve, just off of Hwy 81 & Elm Creek Blvd.

Women’s Bible Studies: (for more information, visit http://www.grace4mops.org/)

Balanced Living: This 7 part series was designed to help women identify who they are, based on their unique nature and in the light of God's Word. Wed. evenings from 6:45pm - 8:45pm beginning June 22nd. Taught by one our Mentor Moms, Jen DuPay. Cost: $12, childcare MAY be available for an add'l fee.

Fingerprints of God: Through this study you will recognize six things you can experience because of God's touch: honor, intimacy, shelter, guidance, redemption, and refinement. Taught by former MOPS mom, Shellie Irwin, Tues. mornings from 10am - 12pm beginning July 19th. Cost: $13, childcare is available for an additional fee.

PreK-K VBS
July 25 - 28, 9:30am - noon Must be 3 by September 1, 2010 - completed Kindergarten.
At SonSurf Beach Bash VBS, kids learn that there is only one truth: Jesus.

Grade school VBS Day Camp
July 11 - 14 9am - 3pm 1st - 5th Grade (grade completed)
Trout Lake Camps counselors will be joining us again for adventure filled days of Bible learning, awesome worship, and amazing games.

SCUBA CampServe
July 11 - 15, a Monday - Friday service week where our 6th graders serve the community through day long projects in different locations.
Time: be at Grace Fellowship by 7:50am & return around 4:00pm.
Cost: $152.00 (mission trip - tax deductible).

Art in the Parks
Monday evenings at 7:00PM at Andrew’s Park in Champlin. Each week we have a project planned for you and your family to enjoy. Each project costs $1.75 and most will take 15-30 mn to complete. All of the necessary materials will be provided. No pre-registration is required.

Picnic Performances in the Park
Tuesdays at 11:30AM at Andrew’s Park in Champlin. Bring a blanket to sit on, a few snacks and sit back and enjoy the show which is anything from magicians to musicians. Most performances last about 30-45 mn.

Farmer's Markets

Osseo Farmers Market runs each Tuesday from July 12-September 20, 2-6 pm, next to Boerboom Park. Tuesdays are delightful in Osseo! After visiting the Farmers Market, stay in downtown Osseo and join us in the park for Movies in the Park each Tuesday at dusk. Some Tuesday evenings have Music in the Park at 7:00 pm before the movie.

Champlin Every Wednesday from July 6—October 12 at 9AM -1PM in the Champlin Ice Forum parking lot.

Brooklyn Park Every Wednesday from June 22 - October 19, 2011 at 3 - 7 p.m. Zane Sports Park - 8717 Zane Ave. The market will have over 20 vendors offering fresh produce, flowers, bedding plants, baked goods, homemade crafts and more. Most vendors accept WIC Fruit and Vegetable Vouchers (FVV) and Farmers' Market Nutrition Program (FMNP) checks.

Maple Grove Farmers Market opens Thursday June 9th. Join us outside every Thursday (June 9 - October 20) for the 2011 season. 3 to 7 p.m. (June thru September) and 3 to 6 p.m. (October). Bringing the fun back to your fresh food shopping with a wide array of vendor grown/produced items, and a great variety of weekly entertainment and activities! The Maple Grove Farmers Market is a highly anticipated tradition in the community and northwest metro area. What will you find at the Farmers Market? 50+ vendors who bring their own fresh, local products every week, music ever Thursday for most the season, free weekly recipes highlighting seasonal products, chef demos/samples, market tours, kids activities and lots more fun stuff. There is also a weekly family story time at 4:30 p.m. and lots of free parking!




Selections may be changed without notice depending on movie availability. Cartoons for kids will begin at approximately 7:30 p.m. and the feature will begin about 8:45 p.m. All movies are FREE! On the evenings when concerts are featured, the cartoons may not be available due to the start of the film. City Days

Father Hennepin Festival June 10-12 at Mississippi Point Park in Champlin. A three day community celebration is kicked off with a parade, amusement rides and live music. Family, youth and adult activities run all weekend long, and culminate with a reenactment of Father Louis Hennepin crossing the Mississippi River.  For complete details, visit http://www.fatherhennepinfestival.com/.

Tater Daze June 16-19 at Noble Sports Park in Brooklyn Park. Parade, fireworks, kiddie parade, petting zoo, carnival rides, games, prizes, live music and plenty of family fun! Oldies but Goodies

Elm Creek Swimming Pond The man-made swimming pond at Elm Creek offers filtered, chlorinated water, a sand beach, changing shelter, concessions and bathroom facilities. The pond is open Memorial Day weekend through Labor Day. $3/person/day or $5/person for season pass.

Museum Adventure Passes The Museum Adventure Pass offers Hennepin County library users free admission for up to 2 people at participating museums and other organizations.
